Role : Area Sales Manager - Commercial Cards / Credit Cards

With the next big leap in this space, we are looking to strengthen our Credit Cards Team by bringing in a solid sales professionals, who can further grow the business and help us achieve the leadership status.


  • Prospecting for new Premium customers through existing leads and cold calling and maximizing lead generation - Timely execution of all sales activities.
  • Leads, campaigns, referrals & any self-generated leads.
  • Tracking and reporting sales performance including pipeline, acquisition results and market conditions
  • Set appointments, listen to customer needs, and sell most appropriate product.
  • Achieve business targets.
  • Drive productivity, manage costs of acquisition and ensure compliant sourcing processes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with the branch and other internal channels.
  • Cross-sell add-on products like Direct Debit, Forex, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to standardised sales processes, SM Planner, DAP leads.
  • Ensures all applications are fully and accurately completed and submitted properly.
  • Be the interface between Bank and the customer to resolve any application processing issues.
  • Attend and participate in regular staff meetings.
  • Engage in regular portfolio planning to determine areas of focus & project accurate full year forecasts.
  • Engaging with premium customers to build relationships and delivering a positive customer experience while acquiring new customers.


Must Have’s:

  • Experience in Channel Management, Handling Large Accounts & MIS
  • History of achieving / exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in using Excel
  • Strong Analytical skills


Qualification & Exposure:

  • Relevant experience betwene 3 to 9 years in Banking (Corporate Card Sales) with an MBA Degree
